Who you are buying from

Your purchase is from Shekhinah EcoSmart Farms Inc., operating as Shekhinah EcoSmart Farms.

How ordering works

We are a harvest-to-order farm. Ordering is open Monday to Thursday and closes Thursday at 11:59pm Toronto time, with pickup and delivery running Saturday to Monday. Our practice is to harvest on the day your order goes out, so nothing sits in storage. Availability is based on expected field readiness, and orders are fulfilled first come, first served from each week's harvest. If weather or field conditions affect an item, we will contact you promptly with substitution, credit or refund options. Delivery timing depends on logistics and driver availability.

Availability and circumstances beyond our control

Fresh produce depends on field conditions and harvest readiness. Weather, crop conditions, transportation disruptions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect availability or fulfilment. If we cannot supply an item you paid for, we will contact you and provide the substitution, credit or refund options described in our Refund and Fulfilment Policy, subject always to your rights under applicable law. We never keep payment for something we did not supply.

Prices, taxes and delivery fees

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout. Most fresh fruits and vegetables sold as basic groceries are zero-rated for GST and HST purposes. Delivery fees are calculated automatically from the delivery address you provide, and are shown before you pay. If your area is not in our standard zones, your order is submitted as a quote request and we will email you a delivery quote before any payment is taken.

Payment

You can pay by card at checkout, processed securely by Stripe, or reserve your order and pay by Interac e-transfer to orders@shekhinahecosmartfarms.ca with your order number in the message. E-transfer orders are reservations: if payment has not arrived before harvest begins, we may release the reservation, and we will contact you before we do.

Your information

Please make sure your contact details and delivery address are accurate. We rely on them to reach you and to deliver your food. Our Refund and Fulfilment Policy explains how we handle deliveries affected by an incorrect address.

Reviews

Reviews are open to verified buyers. You keep ownership of what you write, and by submitting a review you give us permission to display it on our site and in our communications. You confirm it reflects your honest experience. We moderate reviews and may decline to publish content that is unlawful, abusive, unrelated to the purchase, or demonstrably misleading. We do not rewrite reviews, and we do not remove genuine reviews simply because they are critical.

Our content

Unless otherwise indicated, the content on this site, including its words, photographs and designs, is owned by or licensed to Shekhinah EcoSmart Farms. Please do not reuse it without asking first. We usually say yes to kind requests.

Your legal rights, and ours

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right, remedy, warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and other applicable law. We stand behind our food through our Refund and Fulfilment Policy. Beyond that policy and the rights the law gives you, and to the maximum extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If we update these terms, the changes take effect when posted here, and the version that applies to your order is the one in effect when you placed it.
